Algeria Wins Bronze at Saudi Arabia’s ‘Labbaytum’ Award for Third Consecutive Year

Algeria has claimed the Bronze Award at the prestigious ‘Labbaytum’ Prize, granted by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, during the grand ‘Khitamuhu Misk’ ceremony marking the close of this year’s Hajj season — a testament to the outstanding performance of Algeria’s Hajj mission in serving pilgrims.

Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Youcef Belmehdi, told dzwatch that this achievement is a source of immense pride and honour for Algeria, noting that the country has now secured a place on the podium for the third consecutive year, thanks to the dedication of all mission members across every specialisation.

The Minister credited President Tebboune’s unwavering personal attention and support for Algerian pilgrims, stressing that this success would not have been possible without the resources and care provided at the highest level of state.

Belmehdi also praised the entire Algerian Hajj delegation for painting a glorious image of their nation, while extending warm congratulations to all Algerian pilgrims and expressing gratitude to Saudi authorities for their exemplary cooperation throughout the season.
