Algeria’s Belmehdi Praises Saudi Arabia’s Exceptional Management of This Year’s Hajj Season

Algeria’s Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Youcef Belmehdi, head of the Algerian Hajj Affairs Office, has praised Saudi Arabia’s outstanding success in organizing this year’s Hajj season, commending the efforts of Saudi authorities in serving pilgrims and facilitating the performance of rituals under the best possible conditions.

Speaking exclusively to dzwatch from the Mina camps, Belmehdi confirmed that Saudi Arabia continues to develop Hajj services despite geographical challenges, noting that the flexibility of Islamic Sharia has helped find solutions ensuring pilgrims’ comfort and safety.

The minister expressed pride in Algerian pilgrims’ commitment to representing their homeland with distinction, describing them as ambassadors of Algeria — a nation of martyrs, values, and glorious history. He highlighted the strong cooperation between the Algerian Hajj mission and Saudi authorities, praising the brotherly ties uniting the two peoples.

Belmehdi concluded that the success of Hajj is a victory for the entire Muslim nation, affirming the Algerian mission’s meaningful contribution through its members’ dedication to guiding and serving pilgrims.
