General Saïd Chanegriha, Algeria's Minister Delegate for National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, arrived in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on Sunday evening for an official visit. He was accompanied by a delegation and was invited by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Khamis bin Abdullah Al-Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces.
Algeria Oman military cooperation
Upon his arrival at Al-Seeb Air Base, General Chanegriha was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant General Al-Raisi and Ali Bougaziz, Algeria's Ambassador to Oman. During the visit, discussions were held in the airbase's VIP lounge, attended by the Algerian ambassador, members of the Algerian delegation, their Omani counterparts, and staff from the Algerian embassy.
This significant visit aims to strengthen bilateral military cooperation. General Chanegriha is scheduled to meet with Omani officials to explore avenues for enhancing ties between the two nations' armed forces.
