Algeria's national football team coach, Vladimir Petković, has unveiled the highly anticipated 27-player squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The announcement was made during a press conference held at the "Mohamed Sellah" conference hall at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki.
Algeria 2026 World Cup Squad
Set to compete in Group J, alongside reigning champions Argentina, Jordan, and Austria, the Algerian squad will face their group stage opponents on June 17, 23, and 28, respectively. The team has commenced its preparation camp at the National Technical Center (CTN) in Sidi Moussa and will further refine their tactics through two friendly matches. The first friendly is scheduled against the Netherlands on June 3 in Rotterdam, followed by a match against Bolivia on June 10 in Kansas City, USA.
