President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has extended his deepest condolences following the passing of the esteemed Mujahid (freedom fighter) and scholar, Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb. The message of sympathy was conveyed on Monday evening.

"It is with great sadness, profound affliction, and hearts that believe in God's will and destiny, that I learned of the passing of the late Sheikh Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb. May God have mercy on him and welcome into His vast paradise this Mujahid, one of Algeria's loyal figures, and translator of the Holy Quran into the Amazigh language," President Tebboune stated in his condolence message.
"In this painful time, I extend my most heartfelt condolences and sincerest feelings of compassion to the noble family of the deceased, as well as to the revolutionary family," added the President of the Republic. He prayed to God Almighty to surround the deceased with His holy mercy and forgiveness, welcome him into His vast paradise, and grant his loved ones patience and solace. "To God we belong and to Him we return."
