Dramatic Rescue: Man Pulled from 12-Meter Well in Mostaganem

Algeria's Civil Protection services successfully executed a dramatic rescue operation today in the Ouled Taher area of Achaacha, Mostaganem Province. The incident, which occurred at 7:46 AM, involved the fall of a 24-year-old man into a deep well.

The well, estimated to be 12 meters deep with a diameter of approximately 1.5 meters, contained about 60 centimeters of water. Civil Protection teams swiftly responded to the scene, employing specialized rescue techniques to retrieve the individual from the confined space.

The operation concluded with the successful extraction of the young man, who was reported to be conscious but suffering from shock. After receiving immediate first aid at the scene, he was promptly transferred to a local hospital for further medical evaluation and care.
