Algeria's Ministry of National Education has announced a series of organizational enhancements aimed at streamlining the upcoming 2026 Baccalauréat examinations. These measures, detailed in a statement released Monday, focus on adjusting the opening hours of examination centers to ensure a smoother logistical flow.

In preparation for the national exams, examination centers will now open their doors fifteen minutes earlier each morning, welcoming candidates from 7:15 AM, with access permitted until 8:00 AM. Afternoon sessions will also see an earlier opening at 1:45 PM instead of 2:00 PM, concluding admission at 2:30 PM. The ministry has clarified that while these entry times are adjusted, the official examination schedule remains unchanged.
The ministry also reiterated strict regulations concerning electronic devices. Candidates are reminded of the mandatory requirement to surrender mobile phones and any electronic equipment capable of communication, storage, or information retrieval to designated reception staff upon arrival. This policy is designed to prevent any breaches of current regulations and to safeguard candidates from sanctions related to the unauthorized introduction or use of electronic devices within examination premises.
Furthermore, the Ministry of National Education urged all candidates to exhibit discipline and adhere strictly to the implemented organizational measures. By complying with the established rules, students are encouraged to contribute to a serene, transparent, and equitable examination environment, upholding the principles of equal opportunity. These adjustments are intended to create the optimal conditions for the successful execution of this critical national event, providing candidates with a conducive setting to complete their exams.
