The visit underscores the ongoing dialogue and strategic partnership between Algiers and Paris. Minister Sayoud arrived in the French capital accompanied by a distinguished high-level delegation, having been formally welcomed by Minister Nunez upon his arrival. Prior to his meeting at the Ministry, Sayoud also made a diplomatic stop at the Algerian Embassy in France, where he was greeted by the Chargé d'affaires and senior members of the diplomatic mission.

This crucial engagement follows an invitation extended by Minister Nunez, reciprocating his own visit to Algeria on February 16-17, 2026. Both parties are now set to embark on a comprehensive work program, addressing key areas of mutual interest and further strengthening the robust relationship between Algeria and France.
