The 52nd ordinary session of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (PRC) of the African Union commenced today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The opening session saw the participation of representatives from member states and senior officials of the continental organization, highlighting Algeria's active engagement in shaping the future of the African continent.

This meeting of the PRC serves as the official launchpad for the eighth semi-annual coordination meeting between the African Union and regional economic blocs, scheduled to take place in Egypt from June 24-27.
