Algeria Reinforces Exam Integrity with Legal Seminar in Djelfa

In a proactive move to safeguard the integrity of national examinations and guarantee equal opportunities for all students, the Court of Djelfa recently hosted an educational seminar focused on the legal protection of official exams. Under the banner of Law 20-06, which criminalizes exam-related fraud, the event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including judges, lawyers, education administrators, religious leaders, public health officials, judicial police, civil protection agents, university professors, and local associations.

The workshop emphasized that official national exams are a collective national responsibility. Speakers highlighted that cheating is not merely an academic infraction but a serious legal offense that undermines the educational system and threatens the future of the nation's youth. Participants discussed the robust implementation of Law 20-06, which provides a strict legal framework designed to prevent and penalize cheating, ensuring that academic achievements are earned through merit alone.

This collaborative initiative reflects Algeria's ongoing commitment to modernizing and securing its educational infrastructure. By involving security forces, legal experts, and community educators, the state aims to foster a culture of transparency and academic honesty as the country prepares for the upcoming exam season.
