The publication described the recent official visit of Algerian Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane to Niamey as a "defining moment" in the bilateral relationship. During his visit, the Prime Minister received an honorary reception from his Nigerien counterpart, Ali Lamine Zeine. 'L'Enquêteur' highlighted that this visit solidifies a "strong emergence of a diplomatic and economic axis founded on joint development," according to reports by the Algerian Press Service.

The Nigerien media outlet also spotlighted the inauguration of the Algerian-Nigerien power generation plant in the Gourou Banda area of Niamey. This 40-megawatt facility, gifted by Algeria, is poised to significantly bolster Niger's energy capabilities.

'L'Enquêteur' highly praised President Tebboune's vision, noting that his directives have infused the partnership between Algeria and Niger with tangible substance. The newspaper stated, "By personally overseeing the completion of this project, the Algerian President demonstrates that effective solidarity and good neighborliness are not mere slogans, but practical and concrete commitments."

The publication further observed that President Tebboune's "pragmatic leadership proves his firm resolve to accompany Niger towards its sovereignty, culminating in tangible results that directly impact the daily lives of Nigerien citizens."

In a related development concerning bilateral cooperation in the hydrocarbon sector, the newspaper detailed the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Niger's National Petroleum Company and subsidiaries of Sonatrach. These agreements specifically cover the exploitation of seismic data, oil and gas exploration activities, and the distribution of petroleum products.

The Nigerien media also referenced the reception extended by the President of Niger, Abdourahamane Tchiani, to the Algerian Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation. This meeting was underscored as affirming a "strategic alliance."

Concluding its report, 'L'Enquêteur' stated that the Niamey-Algiers axis "clearly demonstrates that bilateral relations based on mutual respect and sincere political will represent the optimal path towards integration and stability" in Africa, characterizing this dynamic as a "victory for the diplomacy of actions."
