MC Alger has made history by securing their tenth league title, lifting the trophy for the 2025/2026 season on Friday evening at the Ali Ammar Stadium in Douera. The coronation followed their final match against ASM Oran.

The celebratory ceremony was attended by high-profile dignitaries, including Kamal Sidi Said, advisor to the President of the Republic and head of the General Directorate of Communication; Walid Sadi, President of the Algerian Football Federation; Amine Msalou, President of the Professional Football League; and Nazir Bouznad, Secretary-General of the Federation.
MC Alger had already clinched the championship title several rounds prior, awaiting the 30th week of the professional league to officially receive their tenth trophy in front of a large, enthusiastic crowd who shared in the players' jubilation.
In their final game, MC Alger defeated ASM Oran 2-0, with goals scored by Bangoura in the 18th minute and Beziz in the 87th minute. This victory brought the Algiers-based club's total points to 65.
ASM Oran concluded their season in 13th place with 34 points.
Under the guidance of coach Benyahia, MC Alger achieved an impressive record of 20 wins, five draws, and only 5 losses. The Algerian champions boasted the league's strongest offense, scoring 40 goals while conceding only 18.
MC Alger's previous league titles were won in 1972, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1999, 2010, 2024, 2025, and now 2026, marking a significant chapter in the club's rich history.
