Algeria's Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Mr. Abderrahmane Laâlam, has issued directives to address appeals from young people who have not yet benefited from the unemployment allowance. The minister emphasized the importance of diligently studying and processing these appeals through the dedicated digital platform 'Ansate'.

During a coordination meeting with central administration officials, Mr. Laâlam stressed the need to continue efforts to inform beneficiaries of their rights and obligations, promoting transparency and fairness in addressing their concerns. The meeting, which reviewed activities from May 24 to June 17, also focused on monitoring the implementation of previous directives.
Officials presented reports on the progress of planned programs and activities, highlighting key concerns and future work prospects. The Minister urged for sustained efforts to enhance performance and elevate the quality of public services through increased awareness campaigns, outreach activities, and improved accessibility of administrative services to citizens.
He underscored the significance of serious and continuous follow-up on all pending matters, ensuring timely resolution and fostering coordination between various departments for seamless operations and effective field interventions. A culture of vigilance was also called for, with continuous monitoring of subordinate bodies and institutions to identify and rectify any shortcomings promptly.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Laâlam reiterated the commitment to modernizing the administration, expanding digitalization, simplifying procedures, rationalizing expenditures, and strengthening governance. These initiatives aim to boost the sector's productivity and improve the standard of public services offered to citizens.
