Speaker of Parliament Offers Condolences After Boumerdès Bus Tragedy

The Speaker of Algeria’s National People’s Assembly, Khalida Boufdash, extended her heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims following the tragic bus accident that occurred on Friday in Boumerdès Province, which, according to a provisional toll, left 25 people dead and 44 others injured.
In a message shared on her official social media account, Boufdash expressed deep sorrow upon learning of the devastating incident. She stated: “I received with great sadness the news of the tragic road accident that occurred in Boumerdès, resulting in the death and injury of several Algerian citizens. On this painful occasion, I extend my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, praying that Almighty God grants them His vast mercy and blesses the injured with a speedy recovery.”
She concluded her message by reaffirming her prayers for the victims, asking that God envelop them in His mercy and grant patience and comfort to their families, while wishing a swift recovery for those injured in the accident.
