Energy Minister Reviews Partnership Projects and Sector Progress

Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal, chaired a working meeting on Monday at the ministry’s headquarters to examine several key files related to partnerships and sector activities.

According to a statement from the ministry, the meeting brought together central executives along with officials from various agencies and institutions operating within the sector. Discussions focused on a number of priority issues, particularly partnership and cooperation projects, as well as the overall progress of ongoing programs and sector initiatives.

Participants reviewed the level of implementation of these projects and assessed how effectively previous directives have been carried out. The meeting also served as an opportunity to identify any challenges that may be affecting progress and to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

During the session, Minister Adjal issued a series of instructions aimed at ensuring the efficient execution of all programs and commitments. He emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination among all stakeholders, increasing field-level monitoring, and strictly adhering to set deadlines.

These measures are intended to accelerate project delivery and ensure that sector initiatives are implemented in line with the country’s development goals, particularly in energy production and the transition toward renewable energy sources.
