Thunderstorms Forecast Across Several Algerian Provinces

Algeria’s National Office of Meteorology has issued a special weather bulletin this Saturday, warning of thunderstorms and rainfall across several provinces of the country.

According to the meteorological service, unstable weather conditions are expected to affect a broad area extending from western and central Algeria to the eastern and southern regions.

The provinces concerned by the thunderstorm forecast are Naama, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, El Bayadh, Laghouat, Djelfa, M’Sila, Batna, Khenchela, Ouled Djellal, Ghardaia, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Medea, Tissemsilt, Tiaret, Ouargla, and Timimoun.

The special bulletin comes as weather conditions remain unstable in several parts of Algeria, with thunderstorms potentially affecting travel and daily activities in the areas concerned.

Residents of the affected provinces are advised to remain attentive to official weather updates and take appropriate precautions, particularly when travelling during periods of heavy rainfall or thunderstorms.

The National Office of Meteorology continues to monitor changing weather conditions across the country and is expected to provide further updates when necessary.
