Algeria has extended an official invitation to the Malian Prime Minister, Major General Abdoulaye Maïga, for a working visit to Algiers. This diplomatic initiative, issued on the instructions of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, was transmitted by Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb during a telephone conversation with his Malian counterpart. The invitation marks a significant step towards normalizing and strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two nations, following the return of their respective ambassadors on July 10.
