National Center Unveils Liberation Struggle Documentary Series

The National Center for Studies and Research on Popular Resistance, the National Movement, and the Revolution of November 1, 1954, has announced the launch of a new series of documentary presentations. These works, supervised by the Ministry of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, coincide with the 70th anniversary of the glorious November 1st Revolution. The initiative serves as a fundamental pillar and modern tool designed to chronicle significant phases of popular resistance, the national movement, and the victorious liberation revolution.

The documentary series draws upon extensive historical material, including archival footage, live testimonies, and rare documents. It employs the latest visual and audio technologies to vividly portray aspects of the national struggle to contemporary generations, ensuring an engaging and impactful presentation. Among the diverse cultural and artistic works included are "Anatolia Exile," "Lamatrouch the Rebellious Ghost," "Nine-Month Strike," and the seven-episode series "Letters of Freedom," alongside other distinctive documentaries such as "Martyr Maryam Bouatoura" and the historical series for youth, "Children of Glory."

This comprehensive collection of works underscores the pivotal role of audiovisual media in disseminating scholarly content and reinforcing the values of citizenship and loyalty to the sacrifices made by martyrs and mujahideen. The project aims to effectively transmit Algeria's collective memory to today's youth through modern digital platforms, ensuring the nation's profound history of struggle and liberation endures.
