Daily Air Algérie Flights Link Algiers and Montreal on New A330neo

Air Algérie now operates daily direct flights between Algiers and Montreal, strengthening a key connection within its international network. These services utilize the national carrier's new generation Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, which offers a capacity for 308 passengers. Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport highlights these daily flights as a significant international link, emphasizing the comfort and safety provided to travelers on this route to Canada.
The daily frequency of these flights allows Air Algérie to maintain a substantial service offering between the two cities, addressing consistent travel demand, particularly during the peak summer season. The deployment of the new A330-900neo aircraft signifies a modernization of the fleet and an enhancement of the passenger experience on this direct connection, positioning the route as a primary international connection from the Algerian capital.
Air Algérie currently stands as the exclusive operator of direct flights between Algiers and Montreal. This position follows the removal of previously announced plans by Air Canada to resume services on this route in 2027. Air Canada had cited network adjustments and increased fuel costs for prior postponements, confirming Air Algérie's central role in maintaining this vital air link. During past summer seasons, Air Algérie had also reinforced its schedule on this route, providing up to 12 flights per week, including two daily flights during certain periods.
