A young Algerian, Youdas, approximately 20 years old, has initiated a widely lauded environmental effort at Cap Carbon, a prominent tourist site and spectacular rocky promontory in Béjaïa. Youdas undertook his volunteer work equipped with simple gloves and trash bags, systematically collecting discarded items such as bottles, cans, plastic packaging, and various other detritus found around the site, particularly those thrown over the wall overlooking Béjaïa's city and port.
