Representatives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune have collected the signature forms required for his presidential election candidacy.
The delegation, which included the Director of the Presidential Office, Boualem Boualem, and the President’s Advisor, Kamel Sidi Saïd, collected over 200,000 individual signature forms and forms from elected officials from the Independent National Authority for Elections.
According to information obtained by “Sabq Press,” President Tebboune’s campaign management will distribute most of these forms to the four main presidential majority parties: the National Liberation Front, the National Democratic Rally, the Future Front, and the Movement of Society for Peace, as well as to independent candidates. The forms are to be collected next Tuesday in preparation for the official submission of the candidacy file within the legal deadlines.
A party source told “Sabq Press” that a technical meeting will be held in the coming hours between President Tebboune’s campaign management and party leaders to hand over the forms and agree on points related to the pre-submission phase of the candidacy file.
