The Ministry of Culture and Arts has announced the postponement of all major art festivals scheduled for this summer.
In a statement, the ministry explained that the decision to postpone all major art festivals was based on Algeria’s leading and steadfast stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s legitimate and courageous resistance against Zionist brutality. This decision aligns with the Algerian state’s efforts to support the Palestinian people.
According to the statement, the postponement decision coincides with the escalating atrocities of the genocide against the Palestinian people.
The ministry affirmed its commitment to adapting cultural and intellectual activities in line with the solidarity stance in support of the Palestinian cause.
