Abdelkrim Ben Mubarak, Secretary General of the National Liberation Front (FLN), announced that the party is fully prepared to actively and responsibly participate in the campaign for presidential candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
In an interview with “Sabaq Press,” Ben Mubarak stated that the FLN was among the leading parties in submitting a significant number of signed forms from voters and elected officials to the coordination body in support of the independent candidate, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
He highlighted that the process of collecting these forms was carried out naturally and in full coordination between the FLN leadership and its grassroots, despite facing some technical problems and obstacles that led to the cancellation of some forms.
The FLN Secretary General emphasized that the support for the independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune stems from the achievements made in economic and social fields during his first term.
Ben Mubarak added that his party aims to avoid the unseemly practices that previously accompanied the electoral process, which he described as “carnivals” and behaviors by individuals that tarnished the FLN’s reputation.
He further mentioned that the National Liberation Front had been misused as a commercial register by opportunists in the past. He believes that the upcoming September 7 presidential election is an opportunity for the party to reposition itself in the political landscape.
