Nouakchott Hosts Grande Mosquée Rector for Dialogue

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani received Sheikh Mohamed El Mamoun El Kacimi El Hassani, the Rector of the Grande Mosquée d'Alger, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott. The meeting took place on Monday, September 14, 2026.

Sheikh El Hassani's visit to Nouakchott was part of his participation as a senior guest and scholar in the 39th International Conference on the Prophet's Biography.
