RND Affirms Support for Diplomatic Break with UAE

The National Democratic Rally (RND) has firmly reiterated its support for Algeria's decision to break diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates. The party affirmed that this decision is a correct and irreversible measure, particularly when concerning national security and sovereignty. This stance was confirmed during a conference organized by the party for its new deputies.

During the conference, RND Secretary-General Mounther Boudene emphasized Algeria's approach to international relations, stating that the nation respects its commitments and the specificities of other countries. He underscored that Algeria has never sought to create crises and will not, under any circumstances, accept compromises or infringements upon its stability and security. Mr. Boudene further highlighted the party's unwavering backing for state institutions in all decisions aimed at safeguarding national security and the independence of its decision-making.

Mr. Boudene also stressed the critical need for internal cohesion within Algeria, advocating for a stable domestic front and the development of a strong, responsible national discourse. He commended the broad national consensus, noting the unity of all Algerians, including political parties, civil society, and the general populace, in rallying around the government's sovereign decision.
