Cairo, Algiers Coordinate on Libyan Sovereignty

Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, engaged in a telephone discussion with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdel Atti. The two ministers addressed recent developments in Libya, alongside a review of bilateral relations and various regional issues of mutual interest. A primary outcome of their conversation was the affirmation of a shared commitment to safeguarding Libya's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, with a particular emphasis on supporting the political settlement process.
