Boumerdès Projects Prioritized for Rapid Completion by Sayoud

Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, Saïd Sayoud, has issued directives to accelerate and complete major delayed development projects within the wilaya of Boumerdès. These instructions were given on Saturday during the official installation of Amin Benmalek as the new Wali of Boumerdès, an appointment made following a presidential decree. Minister Sayoud underscored the strategic importance of Boumerdès, highlighting its significant potential across various sectors including public works, transport, water resources, industry, investment, health, agriculture, and tourism, all vital for the region's socio-economic advancement.

During the ceremony, Minister Sayoud stressed a fundamental shift in approach, moving beyond mere project implementation to maximizing their comprehensive economic and social impact. He instructed the new Wali to conduct a precise and detailed diagnosis of all major ongoing projects, identify priorities, and pinpoint any obstacles impeding their progress. The Minister emphasized the necessity of proposing practical and effective solutions to expedite these projects, ensuring their timely completion and operational readiness, which is crucial for directly improving the daily lives of citizens.

Furthermore, Sayoud reiterated the importance of ensuring the sustainability, effectiveness, proper utilization, and maintenance of all infrastructure.
