Amako Group President, Algerian Envoy Discuss Investment Expansion

Algeria's Ambassador to Lebanon, Khemisi Arif, recently held discussions with Ali Mahmoud Al-Abdullah, President of the Amako Group, focusing on bolstering bilateral economic and investment relations. The meeting underscored Algeria's commitment to supporting Lebanon, with the North African nation characterized as a faithful friend to the Lebanese people, emphasizing its continuous dedication to the relationship.

During their exchange, the Ambassador and the Amako Group President explored various avenues for enhanced cooperation. Discussions specifically highlighted Algerian initiatives across sectors such as education and energy. These initiatives are part of Algeria's broader efforts to extend support, including past provisions of scholarships and essential energy aid to Lebanon.

Both parties reiterated the significance of fostering increased direct investments to further cement the economic partnership between Algeria and Lebanon. The dialogue aimed at identifying new opportunities and mechanisms to expand collaborative ventures, building on the existing foundation of goodwill and mutual support.
