Higher School of Police Hosts Cybersecurity Training

Algeria is enhancing its national cybersecurity capabilities through a specialized training course focused on malware analysis. The Higher School of Police – Ali Tounsi hosted this initiative, conducted in partnership with the European Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL).
The course, spanning from September 20 to 24, saw the attendance of representatives from CEPOL, alongside officials and experts from Algeria’s General Directorate of National Security, the National Gendarmerie Command, and the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport. Various security services also contributed experts and trainers.
Discussions throughout the training are set to cover several key areas designed to strengthen technical knowledge and skills in identifying and combating malicious software. This specialized development is intended to significantly boost security capabilities, allowing for more effective responses to cyber threats and crimes, thereby reinforcing Algeria's readiness to address evolving cybersecurity challenges.
