Investment Projects Secure 19 Land Concessions Across Four Wilayas

The Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion (AAPI) recently announced the awarding of 19 concession contracts for economic land. These contracts are designated for various investment projects across four wilayas: Annaba, Bordj Bou Arreridj, El Meghaier, and Batna. The initiatives, facilitated by AAPI's decentralized single windows, aim to support investors in realizing their projects across key sectors including industry, health, and tourism.
In Annaba, a total of 14 concession contracts were issued, covering projects situated within the Aïn El-Sid industrial zone and various tourist expansion areas. These include ventures for fruit and vegetable processing, the production of mineral chemicals and electric cables, and the manufacturing of household appliances. Further investments in Annaba comprise a wood transformation unit, fitted kitchen production, a hotel, a leisure center, two four and five-star hotels, a commercial center, and four tourist restaurants. Additionally, the wilaya of Bordj Bou Arreridj saw one concession contract for an integrated complex specializing in aluminum manufacturing in the El Ach activity zone. This project, covering eight hectares, is anticipated to generate approximately 1,000 direct jobs.
The wilaya of El Meghaier received one contract for a specialized medical clinic, focusing on general medicine and specialized surgery. Meanwhile, Batna benefited from three concession contracts allocated to investors for projects involving the production of cold rooms and refrigeration equipment, the manufacturing of fats, paints, and printing inks, and the production of various types of fertilizers. The Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion stated its decentralized single windows will continue to support project holders, ensuring the successful realization of investments and contributing significantly to local economic activity and employment opportunities.
