Ténès Port Operations Drive Non-Hydrocarbon Export Growth

Ténès port, located in Chlef wilaya, recently registered three simultaneous loading operations for the export of cement and clinker to foreign markets. The total cargo involved in these operations reached nearly 15,000 tons, signaling a notable increase in activity and underscoring the port's role in advancing Algeria's non-hydrocarbon exports.

The coordinated operations involved three distinct vessels. The WISLABORG was responsible for transporting 7,000 tons of clinker. Simultaneously, the WILSON FINNFJORD carried 4,500 tons of cement, packaged in large bags. The third vessel, the BREMEN, was loaded with 3,550 tons of cement, completing the multi-shipment initiative.

These successful and simultaneous shipments reflect Ténès port's continuous support for the national drive to expand non-hydrocarbon exports. By leveraging its logistical capabilities, the port contributes significantly to enhancing the presence of Algerian products in international markets and plays a vital role in bolstering the national economy.
