National Volleyball Team Secures Quarter-Final Victory Over Egypt

Algeria's national volleyball team achieved a notable victory by defeating defending champions Egypt 3-2 in a dramatic quarter-final clash at the African Men’s Volleyball Championship. This significant result saw the Algerian squad progress further in the tournament, ending Egypt's aspirations of defending their continental title.

The match was closely contested, with Egypt initially recovering from an opening-set loss to secure the second and third sets. However, Algeria mounted a strong comeback, winning the fourth set before narrowly clinching the decisive fifth set with a score of 15–13. The final set scores were 17–25, 25–20, 25–19, 23–25, 15–13, marking a standout performance by the Algerian team.
