Arab Broadcasters Union Festival Honors Algerian Television

Algerian Television achieved significant recognition at the 26th festival of the Arab Broadcasters Union, held in Tunis, securing three distinct awards. This accomplishment highlights the quality of Algerian media production and its contributions to regional content.

Among the accolades, Algerian Television was awarded second place in the category of news exchanges and joint radio and television production. This honor was specifically for the program "Old Arab Houses.. Algerian Houses, Place and Man," produced by Algerian Television and presented by journalist Souad Aerab, showcasing cultural depth.

Further distinction came with director Faysal Chibani receiving first place for best documentary with his film "Dream." This documentary participated in the ninth format of joint Arab production, which focused on the theme "Theater: A Force for Influence and Change." Additionally, journalist Linda Taboul secured second place for her program titled "Volunteering," further demonstrating the breadth of Algerian Television's award-winning productions.
