Oran to Host 14th NAPEC Energy and Hydrogen Conference

The 14th edition of the Energy and Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference in Africa and the Mediterranean (NAPEC) is scheduled to take place from October 5 to 7 in Oran. Hosted at the Mohamed Benahmed Convention Center, this significant event will bring together numerous national and international stakeholders from the energy sector, providing a crucial platform for dialogue and collaboration.

NAPEC aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise, foster the development of partnerships, and generate business opportunities among various actors within the energy industry. It is designed to support the ongoing transformations in the global energy sector, positioning Algeria as a key meeting point for industry leaders and innovators.

The extensive program for this edition includes several conferences and panels dedicated to the primary challenges shaping the future of the energy sector. Discussions will cover topics such as the evolution of the energy mix, supply security, decarbonization, energy efficiency, hydrogen, and low-emission energies. Participants will also explore prospects for developing energy interconnections and cooperation opportunities between energy-producing and consuming regions.

Further sessions will focus on innovation and new technologies in the hydrocarbon sector, including the valuation of mature fields, improving well productivity, and solutions for optimizing existing infrastructure and assets.
