CNAS Saturday Service Launch Draws Thousands, Minister Notes
Mohamed Hattab, Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, conducted an unannounced inspection visit to several National Social Insurance Fund (CNAS) services and structures within Algiers province this Saturday. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to monitor the implementation of the decision to open CNAS services every Saturday. Its primary aim was to directly assess the operational conditions of this new measure, verify the quality of citizen reception, and ensure the availability and capacity of services to provide optimal assistance.
During his tour, Minister Hattab commended the strong mobilization of executives and employees across the sector, including those from supervised entities. He highlighted their responsible commitment and effective contribution to successfully enhancing public service accessibility, bringing it closer to citizens. The Minister also acknowledged the active involvement and contributions of social partners and all stakeholders on the ground, emphasizing that these concerted efforts are crucial for a more accessible and efficient public service that meets citizen expectations and fosters a culture of responsiveness.
The initiative has garnered notable public interest and broad participation from citizens and insured individuals. Official statistics recorded at 12:00 PM indicated that 5,658 reception tickets were issued across CNAS agencies nationwide. Algiers province led with 412 tickets, followed by Sétif with 295, Bordj Bou Arréridj with 270, Tizi Ouzou with 268, Boumerdès with 247, Béjaïa with 232, Oran with 228, Médéa with 225, Jijel with 224, Chlef with 223, Tiaret with 214, and Bouira with 202. This significant turnout underscores the effectiveness of the measure in streamlining user procedures and alleviating pressure on existing structures.
The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security reaffirmed its commitment to continuing and intensifying regular field monitoring. This sustained oversight aims to consolidate the proximity policy and ensure continuous improvement in the quality of public service, ultimately establishing a modern administration that is attentive to citizens' concerns and capable of responding to their needs with increased efficiency.
