Air Algérie Resumes Direct Doha Flights After Seven Months

Air Algérie has officially resumed its direct flight service to Doha, Qatar, following a suspension of nearly seven months. The national airline's first flight to the Qatari capital departed on Tuesday at 00:55, re-establishing an important air connection between Algeria and Qatar.

Initially, the Algiers-Doha route will operate three times per week, with flights scheduled for Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, all departing at 00:55. Air Algérie plans to progressively increase the frequency of this service, aiming for a daily flight schedule starting October 25, maintaining the same departure time.

The previous suspension of flights to and from Doha was announced by Air Algérie in February. At that time, the company stated the decision was made to ensure the highest safety and security standards for both passengers and crew, citing the evolving situation in the Middle East region. The resumption now signifies a positive development for air travel between the two nations.
