Algeria plans to organize six major exhibitions dedicated to promoting its national products abroad throughout 2025, according to a statement released by the Algerian Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (ALGEX) on Sunday.
These exhibitions will take place in Mauritania, Ethiopia, Côte d’Ivoire, China, Jordan, and Oman. They will feature a variety of products from multiple sectors, with authorized sales permitted during the events. The dates for these exhibitions will be determined in coordination with the respective Algerian embassies in these countries.
In addition to these specialized exhibitions, Algeria will participate in several international trade fairs in 2025. These include the Hanoi International Fair in Vietnam in April, the Tripoli International Fair in Libya in May, the Sfax International Fair in Tunisia in June, the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair in Tanzania in July, and the Accra International Fair in Ghana in October 2025. Algeria will also be present at the Havana International Fair in Cuba in November and the Dakar International Fair in Senegal in November-December of the same year.
Moreover, Algeria will participate in nine specialized trade shows, such as the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) in London, UK, in March 2025; the Medic West Africa Expo in Lagos, Nigeria, from April 16-18; and the Pharma Expo in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, in May. Other events include the Aqua Farm exhibition in Italy in February, Yapı TurkeyBuild in Istanbul, Turkey, in April, and Breakbulk Europe in the Netherlands in May.
Algeria will also join the Web Summit in Doha, Qatar, from February 23-26, the International Traditional Crafts Fair in Milan, Italy, from November 30 to December 7, and the Cairo International Book Fair in Egypt from January 24 to February 6, 2025, according to ALGEX.
