Academic, Scientific Cooperation Agreed by Algiers 1 and Kofi Annan

University of Algiers 1 Benyoucef Benkhedda has formally established an academic and scientific cooperation agreement with Kofi Annan University of Guinea (UKAG). This partnership is designed to strengthen ties between the two educational institutions, fostering an expansion of university and research collaboration. The signing ceremony involved a delegation from the University of Algiers 1, led by its Director, Professor Ammar Hayaham, alongside the Vice-Rector for postgraduate training, university habilitation, and scientific research, and the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences.

A representative from the Algerian Ambassador to the Republic of Guinea was also present during the signing, underscoring the broader diplomatic context of this academic initiative. The comprehensive agreement opens new avenues for collaboration, specifically in areas such as university mobility, scientific research, and the joint supervision of doctoral theses. It further provides for shared pedagogical programs and the exchange of academic expertise and experiences between the universities.

Moreover, the accord includes provisions to explore opportunities for enhanced mobility and research cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
