President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has sent a message of condolences to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, following the tragic crash of an Azerbaijani Airlines aircraft near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.
In his message, President Tebboune expressed deep sorrow, stating:
“Your Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan,
I received with great sadness and emotion the news of the tragic crash of an Azerbaijani Airlines aircraft near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan, which caused numerous casualties and injuries.”
He continued:
“On this painful occasion, which has struck the friendly Azerbaijani people, I extend, on behalf of the Algerian people, its government, and myself, my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies to Your Excellency and to the families of the victims. I also express my heartfelt wishes for the swift recovery of those injured. Algeria stands in solidarity with your nation in this difficult time, confident that the Azerbaijani people will overcome this painful ordeal.”
President Tebboune concluded his message with a reaffirmation of Algeria’s support, adding:
“Once again, I extend my heartfelt condolences. Please accept, Your Excellency, my highest expressions of friendship and respect.”
