Minister of Justice Meets with the National Union of Judges Leadership

The Algerian Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Mr. Lotfi Bougmaâ, held a meeting today with the President of the National Union of Judges, Mr. Oudash El-Eidi, along with members of the union’s executive bureau. The meeting, conducted in the presence of senior officials from the ministry, was announced in a statement released by the Ministry of Justice.

During the discussions at the ministry’s headquarters, the President of the National Union of Judges presented the primary concerns of Algerian judges. The statement added that Minister Bougmaâ explored avenues to enhance the professional and social status of judges and deliberated on the necessary measures to overcome challenges impeding these improvements.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted the Minister’s commitment to dedicating efforts and initiatives to advance the judiciary sector and address judges’ concerns. This dedication aligns with the directives of the President of the Republic and Chairman of the High Council of the Judiciary, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as emphasized during the inauguration of the judicial year.
