The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has caused devastating human losses and widespread suffering, as confirmed by the Palestinian health authorities on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Since the offensive began on October 7, 2023, the death toll has climbed to 45,717, with an additional 108,856 individuals injured.
In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli forces carried out four massacres targeting families in the Gaza Strip. These attacks resulted in the deaths of 59 Palestinians and injuries to 273 others, according to the same source. Alarmingly, thousands of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble or in the streets, as Israeli forces continue to prevent ambulance crews and civil defense teams from reaching the affected areas.
A prior report indicated that 45,658 Palestinians had been killed and 108,583 others injured as a result of the continuous aggression. This relentless violence has caused an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, displacing more than 85% of Gaza’s population, equivalent to 1.9 million people.
