The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced Saturday that the total death toll from the Zionist aggression against the Strip has risen to 72,585 martyrs and 172,370 wounded since October 2023.
Amid continued Zionist violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, the Ministry told dzwatch that 17 martyrs — including 13 in the past 24 hours alone — reached Gaza hospitals over the last 48 hours, with 32 additional injuries recorded.
Authorities confirmed that victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, with rescue teams unable to reach them. So far, 761 bodies have been recovered. Ceasefire violations have claimed a total of 809 martyrs and 2,267 wounded.
The Ministry also revealed that 1,700 healthcare workers have been lost during the genocidal war, while border closures and blocked medical evacuations have killed 1,517 patients, leaving 21,400 others still awaiting evacuation.
