Algiers – As a special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Mr. Sofiane Chaieb, Secretary of State to the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national community abroad, traveled to N’Djamena, Chad’s capital. There, he delivered a written message from President Tebboune to the President of Chad, Mr. Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.
During the meeting, Mr. Chaieb conveyed the fraternal greetings of President Tebboune to his Chadian counterpart and expressed his readiness to work together to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations, the statement added.
In response, the Chadian President expressed his eagerness to continue efforts aimed at bolstering the bonds of brotherhood, cooperation, and solidarity between the two countries.
The meeting also served as an opportunity to review bilateral relations, explore ways to enhance them, and reinforce coordination on regional and international matters, as stated by the Ministry.
