Minister of National Education Mohamed Saïd Saadawi emphasized his ministry’s commitment to nurturing a generation deeply connected to its homeland, describing today’s youth as “the true wealth of the nation.”
Speaking during a ceremony at the Moufdi Zakaria Palace of Culture on Tuesday, held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Algerian Liberation Revolution, Saadawi stated, “We must give everything we have to our children. They are our true capital, and it is through them that we will build a generation profoundly tied to its country.”
Addressing the theme of the event, Saadawi highlighted Algeria’s historic role, declaring, “Algeria taught the world how to live in peace and how to achieve liberation with unparalleled strength.”
He further reflected on the resilience of the nation, saying, “Our forefathers, even while drafting the Declaration of November 1 under the brutal conditions of colonial oppression, spoke of peace and the construction of the Algerian state with unwavering certainty that Algeria would achieve its independence.”
This celebration of Algeria’s legacy underscores the country’s enduring commitment to fostering peace and cultivating a patriotic spirit in future generations.
