Algiers – On Thursday, January 16, 2025, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who also serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, welcomed the Minister of Armed Forces of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Birame Diop. Mr. Diop, acting as the special envoy of Senegalese President Macky Sall, delivered a formal message to President Tebboune, according to a statement issued by the Algerian Presidency.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Boualem Boualem, the Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Republic.
