Algiers – The President of the People’s National Assembly, Mr. Ibrahim Boughali, chaired a coordination meeting on Thursday with the committee responsible for organizing a study day dedicated to cancer awareness and its impact in Algeria. This information was disclosed in a statement from the Assembly.
According to the statement, the meeting focused on continuing the committee’s preparatory work. Discussions revolved around the preliminary program for the event, the proposed venue, and its scheduled date. Additionally, logistical, material, and human resource preparations necessary for the event’s success were addressed.
The study day aims to shed light on the challenges posed by cancer in Algeria and will gather stakeholders, including medical professionals, policymakers, and researchers, to explore strategies for combating the disease and improving healthcare services.
