The President of the Republic conducts a partial reshuffle among the heads of the judicial councils and the public prosecutors at the judicial councils.

Algeria – The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, conducted a partial reshuffle in the ranks of the heads of judicial councils and the public prosecutors at the judicial councils, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic on Tuesday.

The statement said: “In accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, particularly Articles 92 and 181, and Article 49 of the organic law on the basic judiciary law, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, carried out a partial reshuffle in the ranks of the heads of judicial councils and the public prosecutors at the judicial councils, which included the transfer of (01) head of a judicial council and (03) public prosecutors, the promotion of (13) judges to the positions of head of a judicial council or public prosecutor, and the termination of the duties of (08) heads of judicial councils and (04) public prosecutors.”

The movement came as follows:

1/ Presidents of the Judicial Councils:

  • Court of Appeal of Sétif: Yakoubi Youssef.
  • Skikda Court of Appeal: Wazen Abdelhamid.
  • Medea Court of Appeal: Bouhamidi Nadia.
  • Mostaganem Court of Appeal: Maârouf El Arabi.
  • Court of Appeal of M’sila: Mahira Hassan.
  • Oran Court of Justice: Boutrifas Djilali.
  • Tissemsilt Court of Appeal: Alouka Nasr Eddine.
  • Court of El Oued: Dabbouh Tayeb.
  • Ghardaïa Court of Appeal: Othmani Hussein.

2/ Public prosecutors at the judicial councils:

  • Batna Court of Appeal: Ben Belkacem Mounsef.
  • Bouira Court of Appeal: Ben Daas Faisal.
  • Algiers Court of Appeal: Ben Boudaif Mohamed Kamal.
