Algiers – Algeria’s Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laid Rebika, paid tribute at the “Heroes of the Revolution” Memorial in Managua, Nicaragua’s capital, where he laid a wreath in honor of the heroes of the Republic of Nicaragua, according to a statement from the ministry on Monday.
The statement noted that Rebika was accompanied by Ali Mengelati, Algeria’s Ambassador and Plenipotentiary to Nicaragua, as well as Hadj Said Arzeki, Inspector General of the National Security Directorate and General Police Commissioner. The visit also included the presence of Ivan Lara Palacios, Minister-Counselor to the Nicaraguan President for policy and international relations.
The tribute ceremony underscores Algeria’s historical solidarity with revolutionary movements worldwide and its commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties with nations that share a common struggle for sovereignty and independence.
