Algiers – President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, extended his warmest greetings to the Algerian people on Friday evening, marking the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of reinforcing the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity deeply rooted in Algerian society, which is today enjoying security and stability.

In his address, President Tebboune said:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Most Merciful, and blessings and peace be upon our Imam, beloved, and Prophet, our Master Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

Dear sisters and brothers,

I am delighted to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you all on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan 1446 AH. This sacred month brings with it spiritual blessings that inspire us to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity deeply embedded in our Algerian society, which is today enjoying the blessings of security and stability.

Our nation, through the hard work of its sons and daughters, has achieved significant qualitative leaps in fulfilling its commitments and delivering tangible achievements that directly benefit our citizens. We have protected purchasing power and remained steadfast in combating all forms of speculation and manipulation that could harm the livelihoods of Algerians.

On this auspicious occasion, I extend my sincere greetings to our brothers and sisters living abroad, praying that Almighty God accepts their fasting and prayers. I also extend my heartfelt prayers for our brothers in Palestine, beseeching God to ease their circumstances and alleviate their suffering, and to unify their ranks.

May your fasts be accepted, Ramadan Mubarak, and may you all be in good health and happiness.

Long live Algeria, and eternal glory to our martyrs. Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah.
