International Women’s Day: Polisario Front Hails the Pioneering Role of Sahrawi Women in the Struggle for Freedom

Berlin – The representative of the Polisario Front in Germany, Ms. El-Nagat Hadi, praised the pioneering role of Sahrawi women in the struggle waged by the Sahrawi people for freedom and independence, according to the Sahrawi News Agency (SPS).

In a speech delivered on Saturday at a gathering in Berlin, the German capital, held to mark International Women’s Day, Ms. Hadi highlighted that Sahrawi women have had a “prominent and influential presence throughout all stages of the Sahrawi struggle.” She emphasized their critical contributions to both the liberation and nation-building efforts, as well as their role in providing the revolution with a significant human force that has been instrumental in achieving accomplishments.

Ms. Hadi also commended the Sahrawi women for their efforts in preserving the national identity, which remains central to the Sahrawi cause.

While acknowledging that Sahrawi women still face “many challenges,” she expressed confidence that their determination and resolve to achieve their aspirations, coupled with their belief in the nobility of their goals, will continue to inspire them to overcome obstacles and reach their objectives.
